Wedding at the Christmas House Inn | Rancho Cucamonga

This fall wedding took place at the historic Queen Anne style three-story mansion, the Christmas House Inn, located in Rancho Cucamonga. Built in 1904, the home received its name for the lavish Christmas parties the original owners would host. Completely renovated in 1983, the house still retains its original woodwork, stained glass windows and
seven Victorian fireplace mantels, accented with Italian tiles.

The ceremony was set in the White Garden, a European styled rose garden accented by a French "birdcage' gazebo. When I spoke with the previous owner, Janice, she revealed the extensive travel and research they had done to be able to authentically reproduce the lush, European style gardens that now surround the home.

The color palette for this wedding included burgundy, terra cotta, rust and burnt orange. In keeping with the romantic feel of the venue, we chose roses, spray roses, hypericum, leucodendron, mums, limonium and a mixture of foliage to create the lush bouquets.

I love the rich colors of the flowers against the girls' burgundy velvet dresses! So pretty!

The boutonnieres and corsages featured roses, hypericum and soft plumosa foliage.

Flowers also adorned the beautiful cake made by Some Crust Bakery in Claremont.

The Christmas House is filled with beautiful spots for photos.

The black and white checkerboard dance floor is the perfect place to toss the throw bouquet.

The house and gardens are truly lovely. However, the exceptional staff is what makes the Christmas House Inn such an inviting place for couples to begin their new life together. Service is a priority and care is taken to make each person feel welcome.

After nearly forty years of loving restoration and hosting life's celebrations, owners Janice and Jay have passed on the tradition of exceptional service to Carrie and Sam Vines, the new owners of the Christmas House Inn. Says Carrie, "This Queen Anne Victorian was built specifically with celebrations and hospitality in mind...and we are beyond honored and excited to be carrying on this legacy."

That says it all! We highly recommend The Christmas House Inn for your wedding or event.

Thank you Diane and Joshua for allowing us to be a part of your lovely wedding. You were an absolute pleasure to work with! We wish you all happiness.
